So here I am, my first blog post thingy and I will fill it w/ my thoughts on Haruhi Suzumiya the second season. Above all it scares me, I am currently on the fifth episode and so far its the same episode. I am guessing this shall change come the next episode with all the little hints on plane things and clouds. I don't understand what exactly is holding Haruhi back from her future could it be her having a list of things that she wanted to do or have happen to her during her summer that she does not share w/ everyone or perhaps she actually did not finish her homework. Like Kyon.
I have not read the light novel of Haruhi (hate reading online text or novels 'tis no fun) but i wonder if this ordeal occurs there as well or is it just something the anime creators conducted to piss me off if anyone has an answer please feel free to explain yourself. Also i have noticed that each episodes animation is changing the last one was by far the cutest but had some darker elements such as when Haruhi introduces Kyon to her subordinates when he has the de ja vu moment it was pretty cool how the animators used shadow elements there and when she finishes Kyons thought the lighter elements reappear. I guess they used that for emphasis that his de ja vu notions are getting stronger err something.
Then there is Nagato I can not wait to find the reason for her buying that mask. So far the mask has been different in every episode. But there are a lot of other differences you can catch such as clothing (kimonos, bathing suits etc.) I believe the frog suits were the same every time. I doubt that's very important but meh I'm bored. Anyway i hear a lot of people complain about this whole repetition thing but I'm glad they are doing it. It is different. Different equals good in my book. Because of this i feel it can not be something the animators conducted but rather its really sticking to the light novel format. Yes I am indeed anxious to see what comes next and how the cycle is broken. But it shall only be that much better if you must sit through each repetition and find the clues and try and see for yourself what the hell is holding Haruhi back 15,513 or whatever amount of times. I feel bad for Nagato. You should too. Do it. Feel bad. You only have to sit through each episode if you want to but she has no choice but to observe every repeated day for 15,513 or whatever amount of days, poor little alien.
Besides the repeated episodes we had the first episode revealing what happened three years ago that made Haruhi want to go to the same school as Kyon. Tanabata. July 7th. I like her whole wishes being granted in 16 and 25 years theory. Plus the wishes made by each character fit extremely well . Not much to say about that episode if you watched you know of its amazingness. I enjoyed it. And all of its classified information.
